Classic Martini

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ oz gin or vodka
  • ½ oz dry vermouth or to taste
  • optional: dash of orange or aromatic bitters
  • ice
  • lemon twist or 1-3 olives for garnish

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake until well mixed and chilled.
  • Strain into a martini glass.
  • Drop a lemon twist or olive skewer into the glass. Sip and enjoy!

Notes

For a large martini: double recipe for 1 large martini to fill something like this large martini glass.
