Creamy, mousse-like red centers bursting with Oreo flavored goodness coated in green candy! Grinch Oreo Balls are an adorable no bake treat inspired by the movie and perfect for Christmas and the holidays!
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside. Clear space in the refrigerator for this sheet, you’ll need it later.
Add Oreos to a food processor. Blend until evenly crushed into crumbs, with no whole pieces remaining. Add drops of red food coloring and blend. Add drops until you get the desired color.
Add cream cheese to a large bowl. Using a hand mixer, blend until smooth. Add crushed Oreos and beat until well mixed. Switch to stirring with a rubber spatula—fold into a cohesive dough.
Using a 1-tablespoon cookie scoop, scoop and drop balls of “dough” onto the sheet. Roll balls into smooth spheres in your hands. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, until soft but firm.
Add candy melts to a microwave-safe bowl.2 Heat in 20-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
Dip Oreo balls in candy melts to coat, dripping off excess. Place onto prepared baking sheet. After balls are dipped, melt 1/3 cup candy melts and transfer to a zip bag with the end snipped off. Drizzle over Grinch Oreo balls. Place heart sprinkle onto center of truffle.
Allow to set for 1 hour in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
