Tangy and sweet, this Honey Mustard Salmon is baked on a sheet pan with whole grain mustard and sweet honey. This salmon recipe has a touch of smoke and is broiled for a tasty glaze on top!
For garnish: black pepper, lemon wedges, fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place 1-2 sheets of foil large enough to create a foil packet on a baking sheet and mist evenly with olive oil. Lay salmon in the center.
In a small bowl, whisk together mustard, honey, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and salt. Taste and add more salt and lemon juice if needed.
Spoon the honey mustard sauce over the salmon, coating in an even, thick layer. Close the foil and fold it into a packet to seal it in for steaming, being careful not to let the foil touch the salmon (to avoid sticking).
Bake for 14-20 minutes (I did 17 minutes), until flaky and nearly cooked (about 115F internal temp). Carefully uncover and spoon pooled sauce over salmon. Broil on the rack closest to the broiler for 4-7 minutes, until deep golden and glazed. Serve honey mustard salmon with pepper, lemon and parsley.
