Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pour slivered almonds onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread almonds into 1 even, single layer.
Bake for 4-6 minutes.
Using a heatproof spatula, flip almonds.
Bake for a few more minutes, making sure to check every 2 minutes until you reach the desired toast level (check visually for the golden-brown color you like), being careful not to burn. Mine took a total of 10 minutes.
Place sheet onto a cooling rack. Cool for 20-30 minutes, until completely cooled. Use in recipes or as a snack!
