This Roasted Garlic Bread recipe has deep, roasted garlic flavor mixed with buttery rich spread on perfectly toasted bread. A delicious and easy side to go with pastas, salads, and more.
While garlic is cooling, slice a loaf of bread down the center to create two flatter sides, like you’re preparing a sub. Place bread halves side by side on a large, rimmed baking sheet.
Once roasted garlic is cooled, slice off the top of the papery head. Retrieve the roasted garlic cloves from the head and add to a medium bowl.
Using a pastry cutter, mash garlic, butter, and garlic salt together in a small bowl until well mixed. Spread all of this garlic butter over the bread in an even layer.
Bake for 10-15 minutes (shorter for softer bread, longer for crispier bread).1
Once cool, slice. Top with parsley and serve. Optionally, sprinkle with grated parmesan and more garlic salt for a special treat.
