Halloween S’mores Ingredients

This Halloween S’mores dip is one of my go-to Halloween dessert recipes because it’s so easy to make and a total crowd pleaser, just like Oreo Fluff.

  • Chocolate chips: we’ll be using semi-sweet chocolate chips for the bottom layer of this dip, and mini chocolate chips for the ghost eyes.
  • Ghost Peeps: one of the best treats for this spooktacular season! Super cute and a little haunted. 😉
  • For serving: serve this ghost s’mores dip with graham crackers, cookies, and my fave, chocolate graham crackers!

How to Make Halloween S’mores Dip

Based off my family-fave s’mores dip, this Halloween s’mores dip is similarly quick ‘n easy to make, but with a festive twist.

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Create an even layer of chocolate chips in this oven safe 8-inch skillet. Bake for 2 minutes, until chocolate is melted.

What to Serve with Ghost S’mores Dip

  • Cookies & Crackers: graham crackers, vanilla wafer cookies, or animal crackers, which are also great with pumpkin fluff.
  • Fruit: crisper fruits like sliced apples can be used as a dipper, or scoop onto a plate with softer fruits like strawberries, banana slices, and berries.
  • Savory: for sweet ‘n salty vibes, dip with salty potato chips, cheese crackers, and pretzels.
  • Dip Party: serve Halloween s’mores with a multitude of other dips, including peanut butter dip and pizza dip!

Ingredients

  • 1 (12 ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 10 ghost Peeps, use as many as needed to cover the chocolate.
  • For ghost eyes: mini chocolate chips
  • For serving: graham crackers, or chocolate graham crackers

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Pour chocolate chips into an oven-safe 8” skillet. Spread into an even layer. Bake for 1-2 minutes, or just until chocolate is melted.
  • Arrange ghost Peeps in a single, packed layer over the chocolate (be careful, it’s hot!).
  • Bake for 5-8 minutes or until marshmallows are toasted golden brown on top. Carefully check the marshmallows every 30 seconds or so, watching it through the glass window of the oven door to reach desired toasting. Mine took 7 minutes.
  • Place three mini chocolate chips over the ghost peeps’ eyes and mouth, since the existing eyes fade while baking.
  • Serve with graham crackers, candy corn, Halloween spider pizzas, and mummy dogs.
