The best part? They’re so easy to make! Just melt together peanut butter and chocolate chips, stir in chow mein noodles, and scoop and top with mini eggs. Yeah!

Chocolate Birds Nest Ingredients
- Chocolate chips – I like to use semi-sweet, but you can use dark, milk, or even white chocolate.
- Peanut butter chips – deliciously signature to Easter—peanut butter! Melts so well with chocolate.
- Chow mein noodles – this key ingredient adds the crispy, crunchy texture and a little salt to balance the sweet.
- Chocolate mini eggs – adorably spotted, pastel-colored eggs filled with chocolate.

How to Make Birds Nest Cookies
- Line large baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Melt chocolate and peanut butter chips together in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir and heat until smooth. Fold in chow mein noodles until every bit is coated.
- Using a large scoop, scoop mixture onto lined baking sheet, flattening into a disc with a divot in the center for the eggs.
- Press 3 chocolate mini eggs into the center. Set for 20-30 minutes and enjoy this recipe for Easter birds nests!

Birds Nest Recipe – Easter Variations
- White chocolate peanut butter birds nests: swap the chocolate chips with white chocolate candy melts
- Coconut birds nests: swap the chow mein noodles with shredded coconut
- M&M birds nests: skip the chocolate mini eggs and use pastel Easter M&M’s instead
- Cereal birds nests: swap the chow mein noodles with Cheerios or your fave cereal. Or try cereal bars instead!

Tips
- Use a large ice cream scoop for even nests and easier scooping. Game changer!
- Stir chocolate and peanut butter chips thoroughly between each heating segment—this helps to avoid burning and creates a smoother mixture.
