The Best Dill Pickle Dip Recipe
This Dill Pickle Dip is such a quick & easy crowd pleaser! It’s tangy, rich, and brimming with three delectable kinds of dill. Crafted with a blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and a generous amount of tangy dill pickles, this dip includes a secret ingredient! ๐ The creamy texture combined with the zesty pickles creates a harmonious balance that tantalizes the taste buds. Whether you’re hosting a casual get-together or simply craving a savory snack, this Dill Pickle Dip is what you’re looking for!
Dill Pickle Dip Ingredients & Tips
- Cream cheese + sour cream – make sure to soften these two ingredients for a well-blended dip.
- Dill Pickles
- Fresh Dill – don’t skip this one in favor of dried dill. Fresh has a better, more robust taste.
- Garlic Salt (highly recommended secret ingredient) – This ingredient takes a good dill pickle dip and makes it great. That slight twist of garlic, salt, and herbs makes this dip something special.
- Dill Pickle Juice – while I recommend using 1/4 cup of dill pickle juice, you can start with just 3 tablespoons and build up on that depending on the thickness you desire.
How to Make Dill Pickle Dip
It’s so easy to make this dill pickle dip recipe. In just a few steps, you have the best ever dill pickle dip that’s creamy, tangy, and packed full of incredible flavor.
- First, grab a medium bowl and stir softened cream cheese and sour cream with a large fork.
- Then, stir in pickles, fresh dill, and garlic salt until very well mixed.
- Now it’s time for the customization. Stir in pickle juice—you can go with 1/4 cup as I did, or start with just 3 tablespoons and increase for your desired consistency.
What to Serve with Dill Pickle Dip
You can make this dill pickle dip ahead of time, up to 4 hours. But the thing I love about this dip? You can whip it up and serve it immediately!
- Appetizers: lemon pepper wings, onion rings, french fries, and potato wedges
- Veggies: try a fresh platter of carrots, sliced bell peppers or raw broccoli
- Salty snacks: the crunch of potato chips, pretzels, baked tortilla chips, and more go so well with this!
How to Store
Serve dill pickle dip immediately or refrigerate for up to 4 hours. I wouldn’t recommend freezing this dip, as the high content of water and fat will lead it to separate—ever try freezing cream cheese?
