Remember when you were little and all anyone could say about Brussels sprouts was that they were nasty?? Well, as adults, we’ve found the exact opposite to be true. From maple brussels sprouts to honey sriracha brussels sprouts, we know very different now. Today’s air fryer Brussels sprouts recipe takes just 5 minutes to prepare, cooks in 12, and can be enjoyed all night!
With just 3 simple ingredients and very little prep, we’ll be using our trusty air fryer to make one of the simplest and tastiest vegetable side recipes your loved ones will ask for again and again.

- Brussels sprouts
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Optional: garlic salt
How to Cook Brussels Sprouts in Air Fryer
If needed, preheat air fryer to 375°F.
Then, wash and slice Brussels sprouts into halves and toss into a bowl with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, and a special ingredient: homemade garlic salt. Toss to coat.
Coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray, then add in a single, spaced-out layer of Brussels sprouts.
Cook for about 12 minutes, until cooked through with crisped edges.
Toss with your choice of seasonings or serve as is. Enjoy!

Cook halved Brussels sprouts in an air fryer for 10-14 minutes at 375°F. The larger the Brussels sprouts, the longer they’ll need to cook and vice versa.
How to Reheat Brussel Sprouts in Air Fryer
It’s quick ‘n easy to reheat brussel sprouts! To reheat brussels sprouts, cook for about 10 minutes at 350°F until hot throughout. Add or subtract a few minutes depending on how cold your veggies are.

- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste – start with 1/4 teaspoon each and adjust to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, optional but recommended
Optional Flavor Variations
- A lovely glaze:Homemade balsamic glaze (so good!)
- Creamy ‘n flavorful: Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- Parmesan cheese
- Sweet ‘n tangy: Honey Mustard Dressing (coming soon)
- Maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
- Wash and slice Brussels sprouts into halves. Add to a large mixing bowl with olive oil, salt and pepper to taste, and garlic salt.
- Spray to coat the air fryer basket in cooking spray. Working in single layer batches, cook Brussel sprouts for 10-13 minutes, shaking halfway through. Mine took 12 minutes. Don’t worry if a few leaves get burned, that’s normal—you eat them or compost them.
- For optional toppings, toss hot Brussels sprouts in a large mixing bowl with desired topping to coat. Or, serve with toppings as a drizzle or dip.
