Description
Made up of equal parts gin and vermouth, the 50/50 martini is a modern twist on a classic that places flavor over strength in a cocktail.

50/50 Martini
- 1 ½ ounces gin
- 1 ½ ounces dry vermouth
- Optional: dash orange bitters
Garnish
- Lemon twist, olive skewer, etc.
Instructions
- Chill martini glass in the freezer.
- Add gin, dry vermouth, and (if using) orange bitters to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Alternately, you can place the ingredients in a mixing glass.
- If using the cocktail shaker, shake until chilled. If using the mixing glass, stir until well mixed and chilled.
- Remove chilled glass from freezer. Strain the 50/50 mixture into the glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist, olive skewer, or garnish of choice. Sip and enjoy!
