Why You’ll Love Air Fryer Salmon Bites

  • 10 Minute Recipe – From start to finish! This is one of my favorite easy healthy dinners, along with Asian garlic shrimp and tomato basil pasta.
  • Flavorful & Delicious – Bold and mouthwatering, the combo of spices is irresistible.
  • Healthy Meal Prep Perfection – Guilt-free salmon bites are made with just 1 tablespoon olive oil and can easily be doubled for meal prep, just like air fryer chicken parmesan.

Air Fryer Blackened Salmon Bites

Salmon maybe one of the tastiest, healthiest options for dinner, but why is it so hard to find an easy, actually delicious recipe for it? That’s why I created these Air Fryer Salmon Bites. In less than 10 minutes, you’ll have tender, flaky salmon that’s deliciously seasoned! With notes of garlic, a gentle spice from paprika, cayenne and a few others, you’ll love this easy salmon dinner, like my easy blackened salmon and spicy honey teriyaki salmon.

Air Fryer Salmon Bites Ingredients

  • Salmon fillets: we’ll be cutting these fillets into 1-inch chunks for easier, quicker cooking. Be sure to thaw fillets before cooking!

How to Cook Salmon Bites in Air Fryer

Depending on the model of your air fryer, you may need to preheat it to 400°F. Skip if not needed.

  1. Remove the skin from the salmon. Slice into 1-inch chunks and add to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle salmon with olive oil, salt, garlic, paprika, thyme, cayenne, and black pepper. Toss to coat every salmon bite in seasonings and oil.
  3. Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place salmon bites in a single, spaced-out layer for even cooking. Coat salmon bites in cooking spray.
  4. Cook for about 6 minutes. That’s it!

How Long to Cook Salmon Bites in Air Fryer

Since salmon bites are cut much smaller than a fillet of salmon, the cook time is shorter. I recommend cooking salmon bites in the air fryer for 5-8 minutes at 400°F. Mine took just 6 minutes.

Sauces

Here are some of my favorite sauces to pair with blackened air fryer salmon bites.
