Air Fryer Salmon Bites
Tender, perfectly cooked Air Fryer Salmon Bites are ready in 10 minutes! Deliciously seasoned, flaky tender texture. A healthy, super easy option for dinner.
Salmon maybe one of the tastiest, healthiest options for dinner, but why is it so hard to find an easy, actually delicious recipe for it?!? I thought it was high time to write one of my own: Air Fryer Salmon Bites.
In less than 10 minutes total of prep and cook time, you’ll be on your way to enjoying tender, flaky salmon that’s well-seasoned and simply delicious!
With notes of garlic, a gentle spice from paprika and cayenne, and a few dashes of spices likely already in your pantry, you’ll be on your way to an easy salmon dinner that you’ll be putting on repeat. Mouthwateringly.
Air Fryer Salmon Bites Ingredients
- Salmon fillets: we’ll be cutting these fillets into 1-inch chunks for easier, quicker cooking. Be sure to thaw fillets before cooking!
- Oil: use olive oil or extra virgin olive oil
- Spices: garlic powder, paprika, thyme, cayenne, salt and pepper
How to Cook Salmon Bites in Air Fryer
Depending on the model of your air fryer, you may need to preheat it to 400°F. Skip if not needed.
Start by removing the skin from the salmon. Then, slice into 1-inch chunks and add to a medium-sized mixing bowl.
Next, drizzle salmon with olive oil, salt, garlic, paprika, thyme, cayenne, and black pepper. Toss to coat every salmon bite in seasonings and oil.
Spray your air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place salmon bites in a single, spaced-out layer for even cooking. Coat salmon bites in cooking spray.
Cook for about 6 minutes. That’s it!
Serve with…
- Steamed veggies or roasted bell peppers: my go-to is steamed broccoli or a side of spinach
- Cooked brown rice or quinoa
- Lemon wedges: squeeze wedges over salmon right before eating. So good!
- Air Fryer Baked Potatoes
- A fresh and filling salad, like my Asian Chopped Salad or my Ramen Noodle Salad. And don’t forget my favorite dessert salad (yes, that’s totally a thing): Snickers Salad!
How Long to Cook Salmon Bites in Air Fryer
Since salmon bites are cut much smaller than a fillet of salmon, the cook time is shorter. I recommend cooking salmon bites in the air fryer for 5-8 minutes at 400°F. Mine took just 6 minutes.
Sauces
Here are some of my favorite sauces to pair with blackened air fryer salmon bites:
- Asian Salad Dressing: the combo of salty and sweet always tantalizes my tastebuds.
- Garlic Parmesan Sauce: rich ‘n creamy, this sauce pairs so well for a more decadent dinner.
- Chipotle Aioli: the perfect spicy ‘n creamy dip for your salmon air fryer bites
- Garlic Aioli: a must for garlic lovers!
