Honey syrup dripping from a spoon into its jar

Honey Syrup

Sweet, liquidy, and perfect for use in cocktails and drinks recipes—this Honey Syrup recipe is made with just 2 ingredients in a few minutes.

  • ¾ cup honey
  • ¾ cup water

  1. Add honey and water to a small or medium saucepan set over low heat—you just want to heat up the water and honey, not boil it.
  2. Whisking slowly, cook until honey completely dissolves and the mixture lightens up a bit—about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Storing Instructions: Store honey syrup in an airtight container for about 1 month.

Note: honey syrup is meant to be liquidy, not thick.
