Valentines Chex Mix Ingredients

  • Cheerios cereal: use your favorite cereal, just keep in mind that ones with coating like Cinnamon Toast Crunch can mess up the white chocolate coating, stopping it from evenly and smoothly spreading across the snack mix.
  • Rice Chex cereal: you can swap this with corn Chex, multigrain Chex and more.
  • Peanuts: swap for any nut you’d like.
  • Pretzels: use rods, snaps, twists, and more.
  • Valentine’s M&M’s: with red, pink, and white candy coating, this candy makes the Valentins Chex mix recipe festive!
  • White Chocolate: you can use white chocolate chips or white chocolate candy melts.

Variations

  • Triple Chocolate: add milk chocolate and dark chocolate drizzle, or make muddy buddies!
  • Peanut Butter Lovers: I actually used peanut butter M&M’s to make mine & it was delicious! You can also add in mini peanut butter cups & peanut butter chips.
  • Super Valentine’s Chex Mix: add in these beautiful candy hearts (like I used on my Grinch Oreo balls) and/or Red Hots and Valentine’s sprinkles.
