The Easiest Peanut Butter Cup Trail Mix
As a former not-so-big fan of peanut butter, I’ve come around in a big, big way. From recipes like healthy peanut butter oatmeal cookies to peanut butter granola bars, it’s hard not to love peanut butter. As such, in creating today’s Peanut Butter Cup Trail Mix, I made sure to keep things deliciously simple and packed with flavor.
With just the right amount of salty ingredients, sweet ones, and crunchy and soft and chewy ones, we have the perfect peanut butter trail mix. This is one of my fave recommendations for packed lunches, hiking trails, and just straight-up snacking or a movie night. This quick, no bake recipe will soon be your go-to. Enjoy!

Ingredients for Trail Mix with Peanut Butter Cups
- Peanuts: use salted, roasted peanuts for the best flavor, but you can skip the salt for less in the overall recipe.
- Peanut Butter Chips: crucial for upping the sweet peanut butter factor, but you can replace it with butterscotch chips or chocolate chips to lessen the PB flavor (why would you want that? ;))
- Pretzels: to amp up the chocolate, I’ve used dark chocolate covered pretzels, but you can use any kind of pretzel you’d like.
- Peanut Butter Cups: Mini is best for a tasty distribution of cups.
