We’re going to keep it short and sweet with today’s super easy to make Berry Pineapple Smoothie. It’s up there with my chocolate peanut butter banana smoothie and my mango pineapple smoothie for all-time favorite smoothie recipes.

It’s packed with nutrient-rich ingredients, rich in protein, and an easy way to stay satisfied and work in your fruits for the day. Let’s blend this!

Berry Pineapple Smoothie ingredients on a table including blueberries, pineapples, yogurt, milk, and strawberries

Berry Pineapple Smoothie Ingredients

This refreshing and satisfying berry pineapple smoothie is made with simple ingredients that are packed with nutrients and easily customizable.

  • Yogurt – I like Greek yogurt in my berry pineapple smoothie for an extra protein boost. You can also use vanilla yogurt, dairy-free yogurt and more.
  • Bananas – make sure to use frozen bananas for the creamiest texture. If you forget to freeze them, simply add in ½ cup of ice to amp up the frozen texture.
  • Milk – I originally made this recipe with unsweetened vanilla almond milk, but now I prefer the creaminess of oat milk. Use whatever milk you’d like!
  • Strawberries, Blueberries: since this is a berry smoothie, feel free to use your favorite berries. Mine are blueberries and strawberries. Frozen will do just fine!
  • Pineapple – fresh pineapple is great, but frozen is convenient—choose what works for you! (Just be sure to freeze the fresh kind in advance for a nicely thick smoothie.)

How to Make a Berry Pineapple Smoothie

First, add yogurt, bananas, and milk to a high-speed blender like this one.

Pineapple Berry Smoothie Variations

Lime Berry Pineapple Smoothie

Add in a few squeezes of lime to your smoothie before blending. Optionally, add in about ½ teaspoon of lime zest for an extra lime kick.

Strawberry Mango Pineapple Smoothie

Replace the blueberries in this recipe with more strawberries, sub the bananas with frozen mangoes.

Also try adding in a splash or two of orange juice to enhance the tropical flavors in this berry pineapple smoothie variation.

Energizing Berry Pineapple Smoothie

One of my favorite things to do when making a smoothie? Adding in some ¼ teaspoon maca powder into your smoothie, then blend. You can add in more if you’re using to maca, less if you haven’t tried it before.

I ate all the things this weekend too, but it was because I was sick and so I threw “healthy eating” out the window ๐Ÿ™‚ I need this smoothie for the vitamin boost! And I love that color! Give me all the pineapple, it is my favorite thing in smoothies! Pinning it!

    1. demeter | beaming baker says:

Beautiful smoothies, Demeter! They sound SOO freaking delicious and just perfect for a little post-weekend detox. In answer to your questions of the day… Foods that shall not be named: anything fried from our local DQ or Culvers. That’s mine and my husband’s weak spot. If I don’t plan an evening snack/dessert, it’s like invasion of the body snatchers… we unwillingly go through the drive through and then, again, unwillingly, eat it ALL (full disclosure: this also may include ice cream/frozen custard) hence, I REALLY try to make sure that we have decent snacks on hand… Fav fruits in smoothies? I tend not to discriminate when it comes to smoothies, but I’m definitely partial to cherries of any kind ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Stephanie! After those bagels, I needed some detoxing, ya know? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oh man… fried food from DQ? Excuse me while my mouth waters… It’s so not helpful when you have the same weak spot as your man- this I say from personal experience with Erik. If one of us even whispers “pizza,” it’s all OVER! Haha. And that drive-thru! Oy… who can resist the frozen custard and ice cream (and all of the other goodies??) I agree that it’s a smart move to have decent snacks around. It’s kinda why I got into baking (and mostly for my mom- she’s pre-diabetic). You feel so much better knowing exactly what you put into the food, you know? Anyway, YES on the cherries! Cherries have a sweetness that is pretty much unparalleled. YUM!
