Nut Cluster Recipe: The Ingredients!

  • The Nuts: almonds, walnuts, and pecans combine for the BEST combo ever in your soon-to-be fave nut clusters. However, you can totally use the nuts you have on hand, or go out and get your faves.
  • Blanched Almond Flour
  • Sea Salt: sea salt just adds a little something something to today’s nut clusters. But feel free to use the table salt you have on hand, or use that special occasion Himalayan pink salt! ๐Ÿ˜‰
  • Pure Maple Syrup
  • Ground Cinnamon (Optional): optional, but highly recommended. Is it just me, or does cinnamon make nearly anything taste better? Try keeping the ground cinnamon in this nut cluster recipe to make sure it’s the absolute best.

How to Make This Nut Clusters Recipe

Preheat

Always make sure to preheat your oven first. Delaying this might cause you to forget–I’ve definitely been there! ๐Ÿ˜‰ So first, preheat your oven to 325°F. Then, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Fold

Now, add all of your nut cluster ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Use a wooden spoon or rubber spatula to stir and fold all of that nutty goodness together until well mixed.

Drop

Drop spoonfuls of the nut cluster mixture onto the sheet you prepared earlier. Make sure to form clusters that have a sturdy (and as Erik would say, “structurally sound”) base. How these clusters look when you place them in the oven will be how they look when you take ’em out. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Bake, Cool and Enjoy

Bake, cool, and enjoy the best nut clusters ever!

Would coconut flour work as substitute for almond flour?

    1. Demeter | Beaming Baker says:

Hi Joy! Hm, I havenโ€™t tried it so I canโ€™t say for sure. Try reducing it by about 1 tablespoon and let me know how it goes! ๐Ÿ™‚

Mine did not come out as clusters, but still just as amazing! Love the flavor.

    1. Demeter | Beaming Baker says:

Hi Elaine! For this recipe, the stacks you create are the clusters. ๐Ÿ˜‰ So youโ€™ll have to form them yourself in the โ€œspoonfulโ€ step. Glad you enjoyed!

WOWSERS!!! These are soo good. Not eating refined sugar…. I have missed all those delicious butter toffee nuts, nut clusters, and anything remotely nutty and sweet. It’s been years and I still occasionally dream about them.
I couldn’t make this recipe fast enough! It hit the mark big time and I am sooo pleased that I can have these yummy nut clusters and they are just the perfect amount of sweetness. Even my man (who doesn’t usually like ‘my’ desserts), loved these. I have made many of your recipes because I like the natural real food ingredients you use and your sweetness level.
Thank you for sharing so many wonderful recipes.
This one is a huge blessing for a nut lover.
Oh, and I used soaked and dehydrated nuts (pecans, cashews and almond) and they worked perfectly.
    Thank you!!!

    1. Demeter | Beaming Baker says:

Yay! . I am so happy to hear how much you enjoyed the clusters! I know, thereโ€™s really nothing quite as satisfying as some sweet + salty nuts. . Thank you for taking the time to share all these kind words with me!
