Is there any chance that you can give the ingredients in grams as well as cups please? We in the UK use scales and the cups are predominantly a US thing!! Thank you in advance!!
Hi Lee! I’m in the process of measuring all the ingredients I use and testing them in my recipes to ensure I provide the most accurate weighted possible. It’s a slow process, but something I do plan to add to the site. Good to know you’re interested in it!
Agave nectar is great. NuttZo butter is great as well. Add some hemp seeds, walnuts, organic cacao powder/protein powder and you have an amazing pre/post workout snack.
So happy you’re enjoying them Maria!
Can something be substituted for the pure maple syrup???
I’ve had other readers use honey or brown rice syrup in other recipes with good results. I haven’t tried it myself so I can’t say for sure. If you try it, let me know how it goes!
I only have quick-cooking oats, will that work?
I don’t recommend quick oats because the excess oat powder and smaller pieces tend to thicken to peanut butter mixture too much, giving you a less than ideal consistency. Hope this helps!
This recipe was so delicious. These little balls are so easy to make and made a great treat.
Thanks Laura! I’m all about the easy and tasty treats. 🙂
Ran across this recipe this afternoon and didn’t run to the store first, so used what I had…almond butter and sorghum syrup…the proportions you gave are terrific…next time I’ll try the peanut butter and maple syrup! 😉
