Folks, this 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Bites Recipe could not be easier. It’s just 3 simple ingredients—made delightfully with the ever-popular coconut flour.
It’s as easy as throwing those 3 ingredients in: peanut butter, maple syrup, and coconut flour. Stirring until thickened (so that the delicious coconut flour has time to absorb and become one with the PB and maple syrup). Chill until firm. Then, scoop into balls and enjoy!

How to Make No Bake Peanut Butter Bites
You’ll be amazed at how easy it truly is to make these peanut butter bites. Check out the simple steps below:
Line
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (you can even use a plate).
Stir & Fold
Add all peanut butter bites ingredients to a mixing bowl: peanut butter, maple syrup and coconut flour. Use a rubber spatula to stir and fold everything together until the peanut butter mixture thickens.
Freeze
Cover the bowl and freeze for 30 minutes. This time will allow the coconut flour to absorb some of the oil and maple syrup and cause the peanut butter bites to firm up. Some readers skip this step altogether because they don’t mind softer bites. You do you! 😉
Scoop
Using a small or medium cookie scoop, scoop and drop peanut butter balls onto the sheet you prepared earlier. If you’d like, roll the scoops into smooth, round spheres.

Tips for the Best 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls
- Use your favorite peanut butter. This peanut butter balls recipe is all for you. If you don’t like the peanut butter I’m suggesting, use your own! (We all have a favorite.)
- … or even your favorite other nut butter
- Try a cookie scoop. This will make making your 3 ingredient peanut butter balls so much faster and more uniform. I, myself, don’t love to obsess about perfection, but use the cookie scoop to make things simpler and easier. Try it for yourself and see how you like it.
- Enjoy the day after… if you’re looking for firmer peanut butter bites. The first day that you make this peanut butter snack, it’ll be soft and delicious. However, you might like your peanut butter balls on the denser side. Go ahead and eat them the next day–they’ll be way less soft and much easier to carry to work, the gym and what not (without getting smooshed) due to their firmness.

Would regular flour work the same?
Hi Macy, the type of flour you use will affect the final texture. Unfortunately, most will not be absorbent enough. Also, some flours can’t be consumed raw. Hope this helps! 🙂
COULD YOU USE SUGAR FREE SYRUP,INSTEAD OF THE MAPLE SYRUP ?
That might just work! Let me know if you try it and how it turns out. Enjoy!
Hi! I am just wondering if you have the nutritional information for each Pb ball?
Hi Janelle, I just calculated and added the nutritional info. You’ll find it at the bottom of the recipe card. 🙂

Could you use almond flour instead? I have some on hand and need to use up.
Hi Kristin, you could, but I’m not sure what amount you’d need to use. Almond flour is way less absorbent than coconut flour. Good luck! Also, if you’re interested in energy bites that use almond flour, try these: no bake almond butter paleo brownie bites. 🙂
My favorite snack! Can’t resist to peanut butter!
Awesome! So happy to hear you’re enjoying them! 🙂
I could use some extra energy!
Then you’ll just love these!
Had my attention at no-bake. I love this easy snack.
I’m really trying to make sure I share at least one no bake a month. 😉 Hope you love these, Jacque! 🙂

Can’t wait to hear what you think! 🙂
Awesome, my kids would have a blast making (and eating) these!
Awesome! Hope you all enjoy!
Fantastic! Hope you all enjoy! 🙂
I always forget how much I love peanut butter! I could eat it by the spoonful but eating these instead might seem a little less weird than walking around with a spoon in my mouth, lol!
Never fear, I’m here to remind you! Haha. Spoon or bite, I support ya! 😉
Can not eat coconut what flour could I use instead?
Hi Deb, you can try using oat flour. It’ll be much a much larger amount since coconut flour is so much more absorbent. Start with a small batch and see what consistency you like. Good luck!
Would almond flour work?
Hi Lynette, I’m not sure. Coconut flour is much, much more absorbent than almond flour, so you’d need a much great proportion of it. Good luck!
You know my love for peanut butter, so I would LOVE these bites 😉 Another quick and easy recipe I cannot wait to try, they look so delicious! Hope you’re having an awesome week, Demeter! xo
Yes, I do!! Very well! 🙂 I can’t wait to hear what you think! Have a great weekend, friend. xoxo

Love how easy these are to make plus there is only 3 ingredients! Perfect snacks!
Doesn’t get any easier, right? 🙂
I wonder if almond flour would work for this……??
Hi Robin, after reading some readers’ feedback, it looks like almond flour has worked for a few folks! Some have used the same amount as the coconut flour, others have increased a bit to their liking (for the texture). Hope this helps! 🙂
What is u can’t have coconut then what flour would work
Hi Mary Ann, I’ve had a few readers try almond flour, cashew flour and oat flour with success. You’ll probably have to add in a bit more to get the bites to the desired firmness. Enjoy!
I could live off peanut butter. And these energy balls would be high on my list of favorite foods. The coconut flour adds just the right taste–love these!
You and me both! Glad to hear that you’re enjoying these! 🙂
Hi, I have gastroparesis and cannot have peanut butter. Can I substitute almond butter?
Yes, that will work! 🙂
I love peanut butter, one of my favorite flavors. Will be trying this for sure. Need a good protein snack to have on hand, so that’s a bonus as well.
Fellow peanut butter lover here! 🙂 Can’t wait to hear what you think, Kristi!
May I use honey instead or maple syrup on the peanut butter 3 ingredients bite?
Hi Vani, that should work! 🙂 Enjoy.
Did you use honey? I want to make these today and only have honey on hand.
Hi Britney! Yes, you can use honey in these. Happy no-baking!
