When I was a little kid, sorbet was one of my least favorite desserts. I mean, it wasn’t creamy, it didn’t have chocolate, and it had fruits in it. Like, how was that even a dessert, anyway?

When I was a little kid, I also had a love/hate relationship with peanut butter, taking time to just chill, and didn’t like spending time by myself.

  1. Add pineapple, coconut milk and maple syrup (if using) to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides of the blender as needed.
  3. Pour into a freezer-friendly, airtight container. Freeze for 3-6 hours, or until completely frozen. Allow to thaw for 10-50 minutes before scooping—this treat can take awhile to thaw.** Enjoy!

  2. I have to food shop tomorrow so I’ll try to make this then. I’m not sure what is a freezer friendly container? I’m trying to stay away from plastic. I Appreciate You! .

    1. Also,I know it’s still only august, but any healthy 2, 3, 4 or even 5 ingredient pumpkin recipe? I usually crave pumpkin all year long!!!

    2. Hi Denise! Freezer-friendly container: just one that can protect from smells in the freezer as well as able to withstand the freezing temperatures. You can use glass containers like Pyrex or aluminum containers. In the event that you use glass, make sure to allow the container to slowly reach room temperature (drastic changes in temps cause cracks) & do not overfill (as most liquids expand when frozen). I appreciate you, too! .
