Both of us struggle with constant snacking and constant hunger—which isn’t all too cute when you’re editing and/or sharing droolworthy pics of food all day.
By switching to the keto diet, which is low carb, high fat, and moderate protein, we’ve both noticed that we stay satisfied for longer, feel way less sluggish, and overeat way less. Woohoo!! Have you tried going keto? What was your experience like?

Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs – Keto, 3 Ingredient!
- Total Time: 15 minutes
- Yield: 12 keto fat bombs 1x
Description
Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs: the easiest chocolate peanut butter fat bombs—only 3 ingredients & 15 min prep! The best keto chocolate fat bombs!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup coconut butter (coconut manna)
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons unsalted, natural creamy homemade peanut butter or store-bought
- 5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder or raw cacao powder
- 20–30 drops low carb monkfruit sweetener, or to taste (optional)*
Instructions
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with aluminum or paper cupcake liners. Paper liners can soak up the healthy oils in this recipe. Set aside. Clear some space in the freezer for this pan—you will need it later.
- Add coconut butter to a microwave-safe mixing bowl. Heat in 10-second increments until completely melted.
- Add peanut butter and cocoa powder. Whisk until well incorporated and smooth. Optionally, add monkfruit sweetener as recommended, or to taste. I used 30 drops. Whisk until well mixed.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop and drop about 2 tablespoons of mixture evenly into each cupcake liner.
- Place muffin pan into freezer. Freeze for 15-20 minutes, or until firm. Enjoy! Storing instructions below.

*You can also use these stevia drops, but I prefer the taste of monkfruit. Also, the keto fat bombs are tasty without any sweetener whatsoever; but if you like it on the sweet side, add sweetener.
Storing Instructions: Store in an airtight container in the freezer or refrigerator for up to 1-2 months. Keto Fat Bombs melt easily at room temperature, so they’re best enjoyed straight out of the freezer or fridge.

Tastes just like my favorite peanut butter cup… but so much healthier for my health lifestyle. Thanks for this easy and yummy recipe!
Exactly! Only feel-good ingredients here. So happy you enjoyed it Lisalia!
Only 3 ingredients??? I am definitely giving this recipe a go this weekend. Thank you so much!! 🙂
Can’t wait to hear what you think Cathleen!
Chocolate and peanut butter is the best combination known to man. I wish I could eat nothing else – these look delicious!
LOL couldn’t agree more! And trust me, these are totally irresistible. 😉
This totally satisfies the sweet tooth! Super east to make too. YUM!
Yay! So happy to hear it!
This looks amazing and I really wanna make this however I’m wondering if I can add sugar? I’m not necessarily keto neither is the people eating it but they are gluten free and dairy free so sugar is fine but not sure if it’s fine to add with the recipe as is.
Thanks Anna! Hmm… good question. The monkfruit sweetener is very highly concentrated in its sweetness, so it’s tough to think of a similar substitute that has sugar in it. The only other thing I can think of are stevia drops (also sugar-free, unfortunately). I hope you get to try it anyway. If not, try my 4 ingredient chocolate peanut butter no bake bites or my 3 ingredient chocolate peanut butter fudge cups.
I don’t have the drops today, but I DO have Monkfruit sweetener granular – would that work?? 😉
Hi Wendy! Hard to say, since granulated monkfruit doesn’t dissolve and so it would make them a bit grainy instead of a smooth chocolatey texture. If you do try it, let me know how they turn out!
How much powdered mink fruit are you suppose to use if yuh dint have the liquid?
Hi Sonya, I’m not sure that you can. However, you can experiment by adding in a tablespoon at a time when whisking everything together. Stop when you get to a taste you like. Freeze and hopefully they’ll harden & have a good texture. No guarantees though. Good luck & let me know how it turns out. 🙂
these were absolutely incredible! I’m really tempted to have all six that I made (i decided to go thicker, so, six cucpcake foils). if you have recipes for different flavoured ones, I would definitely make those too! thanks a lot for fixing my sweet tooth and keeping me healthy!
Omigosh, I’m so happy to hear that you loved this, Alissa! 🙂 Ooooh, love that you made 6 thick cups. Drool! I currently have a few other flavors: Almond Butter, Peanut Butter, Chocolate Almond Butter. And have you tried my Keto Fudge? (My sweet tooth fix like woah.)
What flavors would you like to see in the future? 🙂
So I rushed reading the recipe and accidentally ised coconut oil. They are in the freezer now . I hope they aren’t terrible
Oh dang! I’ve got to know—how did they turn out? 🙂 Did you like them? .
I used coconut oil too and they were the bomb. I am making some more this weekend.
Woohoo! That’s so wonderful to hear Sharon!
These things were awesome and fabulous thank you for sharing
Thanks so much, Barbara! 🙂 Thank *you* for letting me know. Enjoy!
These would disappear in our house!
Haha oh I bet they would!
I made them yesterday and they are amazing, no thinking where to hide them from my sons .
Lol!!! Make a double batch and hide half from them!! .. I’m so happy you love my keto fat bombs recipe, Zakiya. Enjoy!
Can you make with regular butter? I want to make now and don’t have coconut butter
Hi Angela! I haven’t tried it myself, but I don’t think regular butter will work because coconut butter is very solid at room temperature, and it’s what allow the fat bombs to stay solid. Hope this helps!
Just tried butter yesterday and it does work. Very tasty even without sweetener! Melts a little in your fingers if held for a while but it’s fine otherwise!
That’s awesome!! I know a lot of folks will want to know this. 🙂 Thanks for reporting back! Enjoy.
Love how easy these were! The perfect cure for my sweet tooth; delicious!
Yeah! Easy snacks are my absolute fave. So glad to hear you enjoyed them, Beth!

Can’t wait to sink my teeth into these little bites of heaven! Delicious!
Yay!!! Hope you enjoy them, Sara!
These little fat bombs look positively luscious. Question for you — how long do you stay on the Keto diet?
Thanks Lisa! . They are seriously delish. As for how long to stay on keto, that’s going to come down to your personal health goals and needs. 🙂
i just started doing keto with my intermittent fasting – i’m adding these to my list of things to try!!!
Oh awesome! Good luck with the IF and the diet changes Heather! .
