I love baking with oat flour because it adds such a satisfying texture to baked goods, and it’s packed with health benefits like containing high amounts of beta-glucan, a soluble fiber that can reduce LDL and overall cholesterol levels while also lowering insulin response and increasing your sense of fullness. Not to mention it’s packed with healthy vitamins and minerals such as manganese, copper, iron, zinc, Vitamin B1 and more. [1] Plus, it’s super easy to make your own homemade oat flour so you can enjoy these benefits without a trip to the store!

  1. Hi Rebecca! For the best results, I would strongly recommend using the ingredients listed in the recipe. However, if you’re up for a bit of baking experimentation, you could try swapping with regular butter and eggs. Hope you enjoy! 🙂

  3. All these recipes are vegan, I have no problems with that, but I myself am not vegan, I just want to cut down on my carb intake… Can I use things like normal milk, butter, and eggs in these recipes? Or do I need to use the vegan replacements in the recipe for it to turn out correctly?
